Wonders of
We meet at Malta International Airport at 05:15 for flight KM100, departing at 07:05 and arriving at Heathrow at 09:45. From there, we proceed by coach to Windsor, where we have the option to visit Windsor Castle (extra entrance fee). Afterwards, we continue our journey to Cardiff, Wales, where rooms are arranged at either the Radisson Blu Hotel (4 stars) or Hotel Mercure HH & Spa (4 stars), depending on the selected accommodation option. Those on half-board will have dinner at the hotel in the evening.
After enjoying a buffet breakfast, we embark on a city tour of Cardiff, the largest and capital city of Wales. Highlights include visits to St. John the Baptist Church, Millennium Stadium, Cardiff Castle, Castle Park, City Hall, National Stadium, Llandaff Cathedral, Cardiff Beach, and the Millennium Center of Wales. Free time is allocated to explore Cardiff Bay. In the evening, there is an outing led by the tour leader, followed by dinner at the hotel.
A fascinating excursion takes us to Bath and Stonehenge. We first visit Stonehenge, a prehistoric monument dating back to 2400 BC, where we explore the stone circle and visitor center (entrance fee extra). Next, we explore the charming village of Bath, known for its Roman baths, Bath Abbey, Royal Crescent, Pulteney Weir, River Avon, and The Circus. Free time is provided before returning to the hotel for dinner and an evening outing.
We embark on an excursion to the coastal city of Swansea, the second largest city in Wales after Cardiff. Highlights include visits to Castle Square, St. Mary's Church, the National Waterfront, and the Maritime Quarter. Lunch (extra) and shopping opportunities are available at The Quadrant Shopping Center. In the afternoon, we explore the Gower Peninsula, known for its stunning coastline, caves, and surf spots, before returning to the hotel for dinner.
After breakfast, the day is free for exploring Cardiff and its attractions. Those interested in shopping can visit St. David's Shopping Center, which offers over two hundred shops. Dinner is served at the hotel.
Today's excursion takes us to the coastal town of Tenby, known for its picturesque beaches, castle, port, church of St. Mary, Tudor Merchant's House, and St. Catherine's Island. Free time is provided for lunch (extra) and shopping on High Street. We then continue to St. Davids, the smallest city in England, where we visit the burial site of Saint David, the patron saint of Wales, before returning to the hotel for dinner.
We embark on an excursion to the city of Bristol and Caerphilly. Our first stop is Caerphilly Castle (extra entrance fee), the largest castle in the United Kingdom. In Bristol, we enjoy a city tour, including visits to Queen Square, Millennium Waterfront Square, City Hall, College Green, Clifton Suspension Bridge, and Clifton Observatory. Free time is provided for souvenir shopping before returning to the hotel for an evening outing led by the tour leader.
After an English breakfast, we depart Cardiff and stop for sightseeing in Oxford, known for its prestigious university and historic landmarks. There will be time for lunch (extra) and souvenir shopping before continuing to Heathrow Airport for flight KM107, departing at 19:05 and arriving back in Malta at 23:25.
