Friday, August 29
We meet at Malta Airport at 05.25 for flight KM674, departing from Malta at 07.25 and arriving at Naples Airport at 09.00. Transfer by coach to the centre of Sorrento, where we will be accommodated at Hotel La Meridiana 3-star, with all rooms air-conditioned. Afterward, we will have an outing with the leader to begin enjoying this tourist resort. We will visit Piazza Tasso in the heart of the town, as well as the many small streets filled with shops selling traditional items.

Saturday, August 30
After buffet breakfast, we offer an exciting excursion to the beautiful city of Naples, where, together with the local guide, we will explore the Mergellina area, where we can admire the port and yacht marina, as well as the promenade. We will see Piazza Plebiscito, Galleria Umberto I, Royal Basilica of San Francesco di Paola, Piazza del Municipio, Castel Nuovo, and Palazzo Reale. We will continue to the historic centre of Naples, explore it together, and have some free time for shopping and personal sightseeing.

Sunday, August 31
Full-day excursion to the world-famous island of Capri. We will take the ferry (included) from Sorrento, which will take us to this popular, relaxing, and beautiful island. Upon arrival at Marina Grande, we will take a minibus (extra) to Anacapri, where we will explore this part of Capri. Those who wish can also take the chairlift to Monte Solaro (extra), where we can enjoy panoramic views of the Amalfi Coast. We will continue to Capri by minibus, where we will visit the famous Piazzetta, Augustus Gardens, and Via Camerelle. We will take the transport to return to Marina Grande and take the ferry back to Sorrento.

Monday, September 1
Excursion to Caserta, known as the Versailles of Naples due to its Royal Palace. This palace was built by Charles III, King of Bourbon, in the 18th century. We will visit this beautiful palace, one of the most important in Italy (entrance extra), and have time to explore the gardens and park. Afterward, we will head to a Shopping Outlet, where we will find over 100 stores, restaurants, cafes, etc., offering great prices. We will have plenty of time for shopping.

Tuesday, September 2
Breakfast and then a free day to enjoy Sorrento and its surroundings. However, for those interested, we will organize an optional excursion to the island of Ischia, known as the Emerald Isle and the largest island in the Bay of Naples. Upon arrival on this island, we will take a coach tour, during which we will see the beautiful scenery of the Gulf of Naples and Capri. We will visit Forio, the largest town on the island, and continue our journey to Lacco Ameno, a touristy and elegant area. We will also visit Casamicciola, a quiet place and the second-largest port of the island. There will be time for lunch (extra). Later, we will tour the beautiful streets of Ischia Porto, and then take the ferry back to Sorrento.

Wednesday, September 3
Half-day excursion to the fascinating city of Pompeii. In Pompeii, time stood still after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. At these archaeological excavations (entrance extra), we will get a clear idea of the lifestyle of the Romans at that time. There will also be time for lunch (extra) and shopping. We will visit the Sanctuary of the Madonna of Pompeii. Afterward, we will return to the hotel and enjoy free time. In the evening, we will organize a folkloric evening – the Tarantella Show (extra), featuring traditional songs and dances.

Thursday, September 4
Join us to explore the beauty of the Amalfi Coast. Today’s excursion will take us to Amalfi. On our way along the coast, we will stop at a viewpoint overlooking Positano, a town built on a cliff, with buildings descending like stairs. We will continue to the picturesque resort town of Amalfi, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, we will take a tour of the port and centre, where we will see the cathedral in the main square, as well as the 13th-century Chiostro Del Paradiso (entrance extra), filled with arches and columns where the most important families of Amalfi were buried. We will also find many shops and cafes. Afterward, we will continue to Ravello, located 350 meters above the sea, where we will enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Amalfi Coast. We will have a stop for sightseeing.

Friday, September 5
After breakfast, we will have some free time. Later, we will depart for Naples Airport for flight KM675, departing at 20.50 and arriving back in Malta at 22:20.
