First Day
We arrive at Bari airport with Ryanair flight FR7108 at 13:55. By coach, we head to Trani: with the leader, we visit the port, Villa Comunale, the seafront, and Piazza della Repubblica. Afterward, we depart for Andria. Check-in at the Hotel Cristal Palace. After dinner, we go out with the leader to enjoy our first experience in this beautiful city of Andria, visiting places such as Corso Cavour and Piazza Catuma.
Second Day
By coach, we head to Altamura, located on one of the hills of the Murge plateau. With the leader, we tour the area, visiting the stunning cathedral, Piazza Duomo, Corso Federico, and Porta Bari. Free time to taste the famous bread of Altamura. Afterward, we continue by coach to Gravina di Puglia. Upon arrival, with the leader, we visit Villa Comunale, Piazza Benedetto XIII, the cathedral, and the Belvedere Panorama “Le Gravine Pugliesi,” where scenes from James Bond films were shot. Free time for food and souvenir shopping (Cola Cola). We then continue with the leader to visit a distinctive area marked by rocky terrain, a gorge in contact with nature, crossing a picturesque canyon where we see the magnificent aqueduct bridge, caves, and rocky cliffs. We return to Andria, have dinner, and then enjoy an evening outing with the leader to experience the beauty of Andria at night.
Third Day
Today, we begin a panoramic journey through the mountainous promontory of Gargano, the highest and most varied area in Puglia. A picturesque journey takes us to Monte Sant'Angelo, where we discover a large and deep cave dedicated to Saint Michael. Time for shopping, then we continue crossing Gargano until we reach San Giovanni Rotondo. We visit the churches, museum, and everything related to Saint Padre Pio. Time for souvenir shopping and food. We depart for Andria, passing through the beautiful territories near the Adriatic Sea of Puglia. Dinner and an evening outing with the leader to enjoy Andria.
Fourth Day
We depart for Ostuni, known as “La più bella Città Bianca” (The most beautiful White City). With the leader, we visit tourist sites such as Piazza Oronzo, the city center, the cathedral, and the Belvedere. Free time, and then we continue to Locorotondo. A lovely stop to experience the well-preserved town center, with narrow streets and small rectangular houses with pointed roofs adorned with flowers. Afterward, we continue through an area filled with vineyards and olive groves until we reach Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage site. With the leader, we explore "THE TRULLI" (Rione Monti), small stone houses with conical roofs. Time for souvenir shopping. We return to Andria, and after dinner, we have another evening outing with the leader.
Fifth Day
We depart for Polignano al Mare. With the leader, we explore the seafront, houses on the cliffs, caves, and enter the historic center near Lama Monachile beach and the Modugno monument. Time for food, a cup of coffee, or the famous "super mago del gelo." We then depart for Bari, the capital of the Puglia region. We take an interesting tour of the historic center, including the Basilica of Saint Nicholas, Piazza Ferrarese, Teatro Petruzzelli, and the seafront. Free time in Via Sparano. It’s time to leave Puglia and head to Bari airport to return to Malta with Ryanair flight FR7107, departing at 23:35.
