Breakfast and today is a free day, but for those who wish, we will organize an optional full-day excursion to the world-famous island of Capri. We take the ferry boat from Sorrento itself, which will take us to this popular, relaxing, and beautiful island. Upon arrival at Marina Grande, we take a minibus to Anacapri to explore this part of Capri together. For those who wish, you can also take the chairlift to Monte Solaro, where we can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Amalfi Coast. We continue our journey to Capri by minibus, where among other things, we will see the famous Piazzetta, Augustus Gardens, and Via Camerelle. We take transport to descend to Marina Grande and then catch the ferry back to Sorrento. We return to the hotel for dinner.
Fourth Day
Discover with us the beauty of the Amalfi Coast. Today's excursion will take us to Amalfi. On our way along the coast, we make a stop at the belvedere overlooking Positano – a town built on the face of a cliff, with buildings descending like steps. We continue to the renowned and picturesque resort of Amalfi, which has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Here, we take a tour of the port and the center, where among other things, we will see the cathedral in the central square, as well as the Chiostro Del Paradiso (extra entry), a 13th-century cloister filled with arches and columns, where the most important families of Amalfi were buried. We will also find many shops and cafés. Afterward, we continue to Ravello, located 350 meters above sea level, from where we can enjoy a beautiful panorama of the Amalfi Coast. We make a stop for sightseeing.
Fifth Day
After breakfast, we begin our journey to the city of Rome, but before that, we will visit Montecassino, where we will visit the Benedictine Monastery (extra entry). This monastery is one of the most famous in the world. Afterward, we continue our journey to Fiumicino Airport for flight KM615, which departs at 21:00 and arrives back in Malta at 22:30.
