Day 1
Meet at Malta International Airport at 10:30 for flight KM624, departure at 12:45. We arrive at Milan Airport at 14:45. Transfer by coach to Sondrio, a town surrounded by the Alps and in the heart of Valtellina. Check-in at the 4-star Gran Hotel Della Posta, located in the city center.
Day 2
Breakfast, then a short trip to the town of Tirano where we will board the famous ‘Bernina Express’ tourist train. This two-hour journey will take us to St. Moritz in Switzerland, offering stunning views of mountains, lakes, glaciers, and Alpine landscapes. Undoubtedly, this will be an experience you’ll never forget! Upon arrival in St. Moritz, we’ll have enough time to enjoy the resort before returning to Sondrio.
Day 3
Breakfast, then departure to Livigno. Upon arrival, we will tour this resort to admire the beauty and breathtaking scenery of Mottolino and Carosello mountains. Here, we’ll have the opportunity to take a cable car to the top of Carosello Mountain for a spectacular view. Livigno is a duty-free zone, so you'll have the chance to shop for certain items at advantageous prices during your free time. Afterward, we continue to the beautiful resort of Bormio for a short stop and a stroll through the medieval town center with narrow streets and small shops. Free time, then return to the hotel.
Day 4
Today, we’ll visit Lake Iseo, the fourth-largest lake in Lombardy. Our first stop will be Lovere, where we’ll enjoy a walk to admire the lake’s beauty, and there will be a local market where you can find typical regional products. Then, we’ll head to Sulzano, where we’ll have the opportunity to take a boat to the island of ‘Monte Isola’. A 20-minute journey will bring us to Peschiera di Maraglio (a fishing village). We’ll have time to explore this charming village with its narrow streets, arcades, little squares, and cozy houses. Don’t miss a delicious fish meal while you’re here!
Day 5
After breakfast, we depart for another beautiful day. Our first stop will be Bellano, located on Lake Como. Here, we’ll see the natural spectacle of the ‘Bellano Gorge’ and the impressive waterfall. We’ll have enough time to walk along the paths and enjoy the beauty of nature. Next, we continue to Lecco, another lovely village around Lake Como. You’ll have free time for a stroll along the lake—an experience not to be missed. We’ll then continue our journey to Linate Airport for flight KM627, departing Milan at 20:45, arriving back in Malta at 22:35.
