First Day
We meet with the tour leader at 06:20 at Malta International Airport for flight FR 5383 to Madrid, departing at 05:50 and arriving at 08:40. Afterward, we will travel to the town of Aranjuez, located on the Tagus River, designed and developed in the 16th century by King Philip II, who gave it its current appearance. The importance of this beautiful town, filled with gardens, canals, and palaces, grew significantly in the 18th century under the Bourbon monarchy. It was also the official summer residence of the Spanish monarchs. We will visit the Royal Palace and the beautiful Aranjuez Gardens. We will also tour the historic center where we will see the Church of Saint Anthony as well as the Pavia Quarter. We continue toward the center of Madrid and check-in. Room allocation.

Second Day
Breakfast, followed by a ‘Panoramic & Walking’ city tour around Madrid. Among other sites, we will see ‘The Royal Palace,’ one of the most beautiful in Europe, Plaza Mayor, the La Cibeles and Neptuno fountains, Plaza de Colon, Puerta Del Sol, Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Europa Towers, Azca, Plaza De Oriente, Gran Via, and the Gothic-style Almudena Cathedral.

Third Day
Buffet Breakfast and a beautiful excursion to the picturesque and mountainous area of Sierra De Guadarrama. Our first stop will be the town of Segovia, an important city in Roman times, where the monarchs used to live. We will visit the Roman aqueduct built in the 1st century, which is 800 meters long and 30 meters high. We will also visit the Cathedral located in Plaza Mayor, and the famous medieval Alcazar Castle (entrance not included), originally built as a fortress. From here, we continue to the town of Ávila, the capital of the region of the same name, surrounded by walls and fortified with 88 towers. Among other sites, we will see the Cathedral built in the 12th century, the Basilica of San Vicente, and the convent related to Saint Teresa. We return to Madrid. In the evening, we will go on an outing with the tour leader.

Fourth Day
After breakfast, we depart for the city of Toledo, located on a hill in central Spain. It is considered one of the country's jewels and is known as the city of three cultures because, for hundreds of years, Christians, Jews, and Arabs lived together. They left behind a cultural heritage of churches, synagogues, palaces, mosques, and fortresses. Along with the tour leader, we will visit the historic center with its narrow winding streets, filled with buildings of diverse architectural styles that give the city a unique character. We will also visit the El Greco Cathedral (entrance not included). There is an opportunity to take a trip on the Toledo Train Vision (extra), which lasts about 45 minutes. We will have free time for shopping and personal sightseeing. Around 17:30, we will transfer to Madrid airport for flight KM587, which departs at 21:30, and we will return to Malta at 00:15.
