We gather at Malta Airport at 12:25 for flight KM 490, departing at 14:25 and reaching Zurich at 16:45. A transfer takes us to Mulhouse, located between the Vosges mountains and the Rhine River. Upon arrival, we proceed to the centrally located 3-star+ Hotel Bristol. Rooms are arranged, and dinner is provided for those with the Half-Board supplement.
Following breakfast, we embark on an excursion to Strasbourg and Riquewihr in France. In Strasbourg, we explore Petite France, Old Quarters, Palais du Europe, European Parliament, L'Orangerie, and the Notre Dame Cathedral. Free time allows for souvenir shopping. Later, we visit the medieval village of Riquewihr, known for its well-preserved architecture and wine production. The day concludes with a return to the hotel.
A delightful excursion takes us to the heart of the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland, visiting the Mannlichen mountain and Interlaken. Highlights include Grindelwald, a cable car ride to Mannlichen mountain, and a tour of Interlaken with panoramic views of Jungfrau and Eiger mountains. Free time is provided before returning to Mulhouse.
Today's outing explores the beautiful city of Lucerne in Switzerland. Sightseeing includes the famous Wooden Bridge, Jesuit church, Old Town, Town Hall, and the Lion Monument. Free time is available for souvenir shopping, and an optional cruise on Lake Lucerne (extra) is offered. The day ends with an evening outing.
Easter Sunday is a day of entertainment at Europa Theme Park, suitable for all ages. The park offers a variety of attractions, including roller coasters, canoeing, shooting alleys, and more. Entrance tickets are not included, allowing flexibility to explore the park at your pace. The group returns to the hotel in the evening.
Explore the beauty of the Black Forest in Germany, starting with St. Peter's and continuing to Triberg, known for handmade Cuckoo Clocks and Music Boxes. Free time is provided for shopping. The excursion concludes in Titisee, a picturesque location surrounded by a lake. Return to the hotel.
Visit Colmar, known for Alsace wine. Enjoy a tour with a tourist train (extra) through the historic center, featuring charming houses and Little Venice's canals. Highlights include Bartholdi's house, the sculptor of the Statue of Liberty. Free time follows, with options to visit the 'Musée National de l'Automobile,' the zoo, or indulge in shopping. An evening outing is planned.
A coach trip takes us to Neuhausen to witness the famous Rhine Falls, among Europe's most spectacular waterfalls. Enjoy the scenery, have lunch (extra), or take a short walk. We then head to Zurich Airport for check-in for flight KM491, departing at 17:40, and arriving back in Malta at 19:55. Depart with beautiful memories.
