We gather at Malta International Airport at 05:15 for flight KM100 departing at 07:15, arriving at Heathrow Airport at 09:45. From there, we transfer by coach to the charming city of Chester, with a stop en route at Stratford Upon Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare, for sightseeing and lunch (additional). Afterward, we continue our journey to Warrington, where we check-in at the Pentahotel 4*. Dinner will be provided at the hotel.
Following an English breakfast, we embark on a day excursion to Llangollen, visiting Snowdonia National Park and Llandudno. Our first stop is Snowdonia, offering breathtaking scenery of mountains, hills, valleys, and castles. Then, we proceed to Llandudno, a charming seaside destination, for sightseeing. We return to the hotel for dinner.
Today, we depart from Chester and head to Glasgow, making a stop at Windermere in the Lake District along the way. Optional boat trips are available, weather permitting. Continuing our journey, we arrive in Glasgow and check-in at the Grosvenor Hotel. Room arrangements will be made, followed by an evening outing with the tour leader to explore the city.
An excursion takes us to the Scottish Highlands, with our first stop at Loch Lomond, one of the UK's most famous lakes. We then proceed to Loch Katrine in the heart of the Trossachs, known for its natural beauty and tranquility. After returning to the hotel for dinner, there's an option to enjoy a drink at one of the local pubs.
After breakfast, we explore Glasgow with the tour leader, followed by an afternoon excursion to Edinburgh. Highlights include Scott Monument, Edinburgh Castle, Mile End Road, and Holyrood Palace. In the evening, we dine at a restaurant before attending the Military Tattoo Show, featuring the BT Display Dance and Massed Pipes and Drums. Tickets are included. We return to the hotel afterward.
Leaving Scotland behind, we head to Blackpool with a stop at Gretna Green, where we can witness weddings at the Blacksmith Shop (additional entry). Continuing to Blackpool, we check-in at the Imperial Hotel 4*. After dinner, there's an evening outing with the tour leader.
Following breakfast, we enjoy an outing with the tour leader to explore Blackpool, visiting the piers, funfair, and the iconic Blackpool Tower. Later, we visit a shopping center before heading out for drinks after dinner.
We depart for London, England's capital city, and upon arrival at Hotel St Giles, rooms are arranged. Later, there's an outing with the tour leader to begin exploring the city's attractions.
Today is a free day, but those interested can join the tour leader for a visit to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum (additional entry) and other attractions. Free time is available for shopping or personal sightseeing.
After breakfast, we embark on a 'London city tour' by coach and local guide, visiting landmarks such as Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, St. Paul's Cathedral, Trafalgar Square, and the Tower of London. Around 4:30 PM, we depart for Heathrow Airport for flight KM103 departing at 20:30, arriving in Malta at 00:40.
