Thursday, 8th May
We meet at Malta International Airport at 11:00 for flight KM538, which departs at 13:30, and arrive in Prague at 16:00. We then proceed to the Green Garden Hotel 4-star. Check-in and free time. There are several restaurants nearby with prices to suit all budgets.
Friday, 9th May
The city of Prague has so much to offer tourists, so today we will have a city tour to explore parts of this beautiful city, such as Prague Castle, a large complex of buildings that includes St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George's Basilica, and the Royal Palace. We will also visit the Church of the Infant Jesus of Prague, Kampa Island, Charles Bridge, and more. Afterward, we will have a half-day of free time to enjoy the city. For those interested, a cruise (extra charge) on the Vltava River with the tour leader will offer a different perspective of the city. In the evening, those who wish can join us for a Folklore Night.
Saturday, 10th May
Without a doubt, Dresden, often called the "Florence of the North," is one of the most beautiful cities in Germany. We will have the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the castle near Theaterplatz, the Opera House, Sempergalerie, Taschenbergpalais, and Hofkirche. We will also see other places of interest, such as the Fürstenzug (the procession of princes). We will have some free time for shopping. We return to the hotel afterward.
Sunday, 11th May
A very interesting excursion to Karlovy Vary in Western Bohemia, where during our journey, we will have the opportunity to appreciate the countryside of this area as we travel. The city of Karlovy Vary is located in a very beautiful valley. Together with the guide, we will visit the Church of St. Mary Magdalene, see the famous Spa Colonnades, and the fountains. This area is well-known for its crystal work, and we will find one of the best crystal brands in the world here. You can't visit Karlovy Vary without trying the famous wafers, which are absolutely delicious, as well as the traditional Becherovka liquor and, of course, the natural mineral spring waters. We return to the hotel afterward.
Monday, 12th May
Buffet breakfast and an excursion to Český Krumlov, considered the most beautiful city in Bohemia. This UNESCO World Heritage-listed city is protected and enjoys stunning scenery. On our way to Český Krumlov, located on the Vltava River, we will pass through charming villages and spectacular countryside. We will visit the historic center and the castle (entrance fee extra). In the evening, we will go for a drink.
Tuesday, 13th May
After buffet breakfast, an excursion takes us to the medieval town of Kutná Hora. We will explore this 13th-century area, famous for its silver mines. Here, we will have the opportunity to see the magnificent Gothic-style Cathedral of St. Barbara, beautiful monuments, and historic houses. We will have time for lunch (extra). We will continue to Sedlec to visit the Bone Chapel. Then, we will proceed to the airport for the Air Malta flight KM539, which departs at 20:40 and arrives in Malta at 23:10.
