We will meet at Malta's international airport at 15:00 for flight KM538 departing at 17:20. We'll arrive in Prague at 19:50 and proceed to the Green Garden Hotel, a 4-star accommodation, where we'll have rooms and free time. There are several restaurants near the hotel with prices to suit everyone's budget.
We'll embark on an exciting excursion to Karlovy Vary in Western Bohemia. During the journey, we'll enjoy the picturesque countryside. In Karlovy Vary, we'll explore the Church of Maria Magdalena, Spa Colonnades, and fountains. The city is renowned for crystal work, and we'll discover one of the world's best brands. Sampling the famous Wafers, traditional Becherovka liqueur, and natural mineral springs is a must. We'll return to the hotel.
This day is dedicated to a city tour of Prague, featuring highlights like Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George's Basilica, Royal Palace, Kampa Island, and Charles Bridge. The afternoon is free, and optional activities include a river cruise for a different view of the city (extra cost), lunch (extra), or shopping.
We'll explore Dresden, known as the "Florence of the North." Highlights include the castle near Theaterplatz, Opera House, Sempergalerie, Taschenbergpalais, Hofkirche, and the Fürstenzug. Free time is allotted for shopping, and we'll return to the hotel.
We will start with a buffet breakfast followed by an excursion to Český Krumlov, considered the most beautiful town in Bohemia and a UNESCO World Heritage site. We'll explore the historic center and the castle (extra entry) and conclude the day with an evening drink.
After another buffet breakfast we'll embark on an excursion to the medieval city of Kutna Hora, known for its 13th-century silver mines. Highlights include the Gothic Cathedral dedicated to St. Barbara and the Bone Chapel in Sedlec. After lunch (extra), we'll head to the airport for the Air Malta flight KM539 departing at 20:40, arriving back in Malta at 23:10.
