We meet at Malta International Airport at 14:45 for flight KM538, departing at 17:20, arriving in Prague at 19:50.We proceed directly to Hotel Prague Season – 4 stars. After room allocation, enjoy some free time.There are various budget-friendly restaurants located near the hotel.
Prague is a city rich in history and culture. Today we’ll go on a city tour to discover some of its top landmarks including: Prague Castle, a large complex which includes: St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George’s Basilica, The Royal Palace, The Church of Our Lady Victorious, home to the Infant Jesus of Prague , Kampa Island ,The iconic Charles Bridge, among others. After the tour, you'll have free time to continue exploring this magnificent, Christmas-decorated city. In the evening, you can either: Join us for a fantastic New Year’s Eve celebration with dinner, drinks, live music, dancing, and fun (optional, extra charge) Or celebrate the New Year at Prague’s main square, with a lively local atmosphere and public events.
Today is a relaxing day. After breakfast, we head out late morning to visit the Botanical Gardens and the Prague Zoo, a major local attraction where you’ll see polar bears, red pandas, tigers, and much more. Afterwards, we return to the hotel, followed by free time. Take the opportunity to visit the Christmas Markets at Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square, and Na Kampě Square, which remain open until 22:00.
Buffet breakfast followed by a full-day excursion to Český Krumlov, considered the most beautiful town in Bohemia.This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers stunning scenery. On our journey to this town, located along the Vltava River, we pass through picturesque villages and countryside.
We will visit the historic center, the castle (entrance extra), and the Christmas Market in Svornosti Square. We then return to Prague with the opportunity to visit more Christmas markets in this magical city.
An extremely interesting excursion to Karlovy Vary, located in western Bohemia. During our scenic journey, we’ll enjoy the beautiful countryside of the region. Set in a gorgeous valley, Karlovy Vary is famous for its spas and thermal springs. With a local guide, we’ll visit: The Church of St. Mary Magdalene , The renowned Spa Colonnades and fountains. Karlovy Vary is also well known for its crystal glass production, home to some of the finest brands worldwide. While here, you’ll get to taste the famous Karlovy Vary wafers, the traditional herbal liquor Becherovka, and of course the natural mineral spring water. After some free time, we continue to Prague Airport for flight KM539 at 20:40, arriving back in Malta at 23:10.
