Visiting: Brussels, Ghent, Antwerp, Bruges u Maastricht

Monday, December 4th:

We will gather at Malta's international airport at 14:00 for flight KM420, departing at 16:30 and arriving in Brussels at 19:35. Upon our arrival, we will be transferred by coach to the centrally located Hotel Bedford, where room assignments will be made. In the evening, we will go out with the tour leader.

Tuesday, December 5th:

After enjoying breakfast, we will embark on a city tour of Brussels, visiting major attractions such as Manneken Pis, Marché au Charbon Street, the Royal Palace, Town Hall, Gran Place, and more. Following the tour, you will have some free time. In the afternoon, we will set off on a half-day excursion to the captivating city of Antwerp. We will explore critical sites alongside our tour leader, including Grate Markt, the Cathedral of Our Lady, Central Station, and the Old Town. You will also have free time to enjoy the festive Christmas decorations and Christmas Market.

Wednesday, December 6th:

We'll begin the day with a buffet breakfast. Our first excursion takes us to the Netherlands, where we will explore the city of Maastricht. Upon arrival, we will embark on a city tour to visit one of the most fortified Roman cities in the Netherlands. Maastricht is a highly sought-after tourist destination, and during our tour, we will see the Stokstraat Quarter, the Basilica of Our Lady, The Ramparts, and more. You will have free time to relish the enchanting atmosphere at the famous Christmas Market in the Vrijthof square. We will then return to Brussels. In the evening, you can continue exploring the festively adorned streets of Brussels and the Christmas Markets.

Thursday, December 7th:

Join us as we discover the picturesque city of Bruges, one of Europe's most charming cities. You will be able to capture every corner's beauty through photographs. Accompanied by a local guide, we will explore the UNESCO World Heritage-listed historic centre, featuring medieval buildings, the Church of Our Lady, The Beguinage, The Lake of Love, Bruges City Hall, and more. You will have free time to immerse yourself in the city's ambience. For those interested, there's an option to take a Canal Cruise (extra) to admire the historic bridges, flower gardens, and almshouses along the canals of Bruges. Don't miss the chance to savour a delightful meal at the Christmas Market.

Friday, December 8th:

Today, we embark on another fantastic excursion to the city of Ghent. Upon arrival, we will have a city tour, visiting notable landmarks such as the Castle of Gerardo the Devil, renowned for the Van Eyck brothers' masterpiece, "The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb," the Bell Tower, Town Hall, Mason's Guild House, Grass and Grains Pier, and the Christmas Market in the Main square, in front of the cathedral. Afterwards, we will be transferred by coach to Brussels Airport for our flight KM421, departing at 20:25 and arriving at 23:20.
