First Day We meet with the tour leader at 03:45 at Malta International Airport for Ryanair Flight FR7108 to Bari, departing at 05:45 and arriving at 07:05. Group B: We meet with the tour leader at 07:30 at Malta International Airport for Ryanair Flight FR7108 to Bari, departing at 10:00 and arriving at 11:05. We depart by coach to Bari, the capital of the Puglia region, also known as “the second Naples.” With the leader, we take an interesting tour visiting the historic center, the Basilica of San Nicola, Piazza Ferrarese, Teatro Petruzzelli, and the beauty of the seafront. Free time in Via Sparano for individual shopping. We return to Andria for dinner and an evening outing with the leader to enjoy the beautiful city of Andria, including Corso Cavour and Piazza Catuma.
Second Day Breakfast: By coach, we leave for Altamura, located on one of the hills of the Murge Plateau. With the leader, we take a tour visiting the stunning cathedral façade, Piazza Duomo, Corso Federico, and Porta Bari. Free time to taste the famous bread in Altamura. We then continue by coach to Gravina Di Puglia. Upon arrival, we explore Villa Comunale, Piazza Benedetto XIII, the cathedral, and the Belvedere Panorama "Le Gravine Pugliesi," where scenes from James Bond films were shot. Free time for food and souvenir shopping (Coca-Cola). We continue with the leader to explore a distinctive characteristic area marked by rock formations, a canyon that connects to nature, where we see the magnificent aqueduct bridge, caves, cliffs, and stone settlements. Return to Andria, dinner, and an evening outing with the leader to enjoy Andria at night.
Third Day Breakfast: Today we begin a panoramic journey on a mountainous promontory due to the geographical position of the Gargano, the highest and most varied area in Puglia. The picturesque journey continues until we reach Monte Sant'Angelo, where we discover a deep and large cave dedicated to Saint Michael. Free time for shopping, and then we continue across Gargano until we reach San Giovanni Rotondo. We visit the churches, the museum, and everything related to Saint Padre Pio. Time for souvenir shopping and food. Departure to Andria, passing through the beautiful territories near the Adriatic coast of Puglia. Dinner and evening outing with the leader in Andria.
Fourth Day Breakfast: Departure for Ostuni, known as "The most beautiful White City." With the leader, we visit tourist sites like Piazza Oronzo, the city center, Duomo, and the Belvedere. Free time and we continue to Locorotondo, stopping for a pleasant experience in the well-preserved center, which is beautifully built around narrow alleys and small rectangular houses with pointed roofs full of flowers. We then continue through a landscape filled with vineyards and olive groves until we reach Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage site. With the leader, we explore "THE TRULLI" (Rione Monti), small stone houses with conical roofs. We have time for souvenir shopping. Return to Andria, followed by dinner and another outing with the leader.
Fifth Day Breakfast: Departure for Santa Maria di Colonna, where we stop to enjoy ‘La Riva Al Mare’ and the Cristoforo Colombo seafront. We continue to the beautiful city of Trani, known as "The Pearl of the Adriatic." Here, together with the tour leader, we visit the Cathedral of San Nicola Pellegrino, which dominates the fishing port from a spectacular position. We also visit the historic center, Piazza della Repubblica, Castello Svevo, and Parco Comunale. It’s time to leave Puglia as we depart for Bari Airport to return to Malta with Ryanair Flight FR7107, departing at 16:35 and arriving in Malta at 17:55.
Group B: Flight FR7107 departs at 14:10 and arrives in Malta at 15:30.
