Our group will gather at the airport at 07:00 for flight KM306, departing at 09:05 and arriving in Munich at 11:35. Upon arrival, we will transfer by coach for a city tour led by our guide. We'll explore Marienplatz, dominated by the Fraunkirche bell towers, and see landmarks like Rathaus Glockenspiel, Isor Tor, St. Michael's Kirche, Karlsplatz, and the charming streets of Neuhausen Strabe and Kaufinge Strabe. The tour continues to Max Joseph Platz Opera House before heading to our accommodation at Hotel Wallis, a 3-star hotel located in the city center.
We embark on a historic excursion to Salzburg, famous for its connection to the musical film "Sound of Music." Highlights include the cathedral, Residence Square, Market Square, Getreidegasse, Mozart's house, and the option to visit Hohensalzburg fortress. The evening offers an outing with the tour leader.
This day is dedicated to exploring the beauty of Neuschwanstein Castle, with visits to Marian Bridge and Hohenschwangau Castle. The day concludes with a tour of the charming village of Fussen.
Starts with breakfast followed by a Munich city walking tour with a local guide, exploring Marianplatz, Frauenkirche, Max Joseph Platz, Opera House, Glockenspielmall clock, and Karlsplatz. Free time allows for further exploration and shopping. The evening includes an outing with the tour leader.
After breakfast, we embark on an excursion to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, a German skiing resort. The journey continues to Zugspitze, Germany's highest mountain, offering breathtaking views. We return to the hotel in the evening.
An excursion to Berchtesgaden and Konigsee, featuring a visit to the famous Salt Mines and the pristine Lake Konigsee, resembling a Norwegian fjord. Optional boat tours are available, and the day ends with dinner at the hotel.
The final day begins with breakfast and an excursion to the picturesque town of Kufstein in Austria's Tyrol region, including a visit to the landmark fortress. Later, we explore Rosenheim in Bavaria, with highlights such as Max Josef Platz, Kirche St Nikolaus, Ludwigplatz, and the cathedral. Free time allows for personal sightseeing before transferring to Munich airport for our return flight KM309 at 19:00, arriving in Malta at 21:20.
